This exquisite Schüller-C kitchen was designed and installed for a lovely nuclear family who visited us even before their Maple 3 villa was handed over to them. Our senior design architect guided them to create the kitchen according to their distinct needs. The material mix is stunning with matt & high gloss Sand Grey lacquer laminate complimented with Sapienstone’s polished Arabescato backsplash and worktop. An accent of textured Chalet Oak effect wood has been added with the breakfast bar.
The scope of contracting was minimal and hence working with the constricted kitchen space was overcome with using smart storage solutions like the tall pull-out larder unit, corner base units with Le Mans and carousel units. The smallest of corner space on the wall has been utilized by installing open shelves. Further to make the kitchen easy to work around in, it has been made handleless by using Stainless Steel grip ledge and push to open mechanisms.
The Miele gas hob required the Elica hood to be installed at a higher position in comparison to the height that is required by an induction hob. Further the kitchen’s efficiency has been increased manifold with fully integrated Miele dishwasher, oven, microwave-oven and Liebherr BioFresh fridge-freezer.
In addition to the kitchen, Occhio lights have been installed throughout the lower level and the upper level corridor and bedroom. All the Occhio lights – Pìu and Mito soffitto & alto on ceiling, Sento verticale on the wall, Mito sospeso and Sento sospeso as pendant lights and Mito Largo on the floor are all connected to Occhio AIR. Occhio AIR is Occhio’s remote control system to create different ambiences with the Occhio lights on a press of a button.
This extensive project has been completed with Parador’s Concrete Grey Stone texture vinyl flooring in the lower level and Oak Grey Whitewash Brushed texture on the upper level.
The end result as seen in the images and video here is an excellent example of a multitude materials put together harmoniously.
